Soilex Corporation accepts
non-hazardous soils and other industrial waste, which may be
contaminated with virgin and non-virgin petroleum products. The
Chesapeake facility also accepts non-hazardous sludges, which
frequently include tank bottoms, car wash/OWS sludges and numerous
industrial and manufacturing process wastes.
The facilities will not
accept municipal waste or those materials that are classified as
hazardous, explosive, or infectious.
Prior to the receipt of
any material, customers must complete a
Material Characterization
Form and return it to the office for approval. Lab analysis,
if available, should be submitted at this time. The requested lab
parameters for each type of material are listed below.

Customers
delivering material containing virgin petroleum contaminants
(unused motor oil, unused hydraulic oil, gasoline, diesel fuel
etc) must furnish lab analysis for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons
(TPH) using EPA SW method 5035/8015. If the customer cannot
furnish this analysis prior to delivery, Soilex will perform the
analysis upon receipt.

Please collect at least
one representative sample from each project location.
Once the material is
approved for receipt at any of our facilities, Soilex will prepare a
Non-Hazardous Shipping Manifest or similar document. We will
deliver these documents to your office, job site or other location
as needed to facilitate the disposal process. |
