To Chesapeake Facility from Richmond, VA and points north:

Take Interstate 64 East toward Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.  You may also take the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel, depending upon traffic conditions (see directions to Suffolk Facility).  Once through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, continue on Interstate 64 East.  Stay on Interstate 64 until the Elizabeth City / Rt. 17 exit (Exit 291 B).  Take this exit and follow signs for Elizabeth City.  Proceed straight through the traffic light at Great Bridge Blvd., go 6/10 mile and take a right into landfill.  Proceed to scalehouse.

To Chesapeake Facility from Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland:

At the end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (Route 13 South), proceed straight on Northampton Blvd. in Virginia Beach.  Follow the signs for Chesapeake – Virginia Beach, which is Interstate 64 toward Chesapeake.  Take exit 291 B (Elizabeth City exit) and follow signs for Elizabeth City. Proceed straight through the traffic light at Great Bridge Blvd., go 6/10 mile and take a right into landfill. Proceed to scalehouse.

To Suffolk Facility from Richmond, VA and points north:

Take Interstate 64 East toward Hampton, VA.  Take the Suffolk exit (Exit 264, includes sign for Suffolk). This is Interstate 664 South.  Proceed through tunnel and stay on Interstate 664 South until the Route 58 split.  Take 58 West toward Suffolk.  You will pass a small airport on right and VDOT scales on right.  Approximately 1 mile after VDOT scales will be landfill entrance.  Proceed to scalehouse.

To Suffolk Facility from Franklin, Emporia, VA and points west:

Take Route 58 East toward Suffolk.  Proceed on the 58 Bypass until it merges back into Route 58 East.  In approximately 1 mile, take a left into the landfill. (If you get to the VDOT scales at Bowers Hill, you have gone too far.)  Proceed to the scalehouse.
